2008 Dog Obedience Training Class Information

Classes are 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. for this session.

On the first Tuesday we ask you to be at the Fairgrounds in Troy, OH. no later than 6:30 p.m.

The rest of the training sessions will start at 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

CGC testing at 8:00 PM  price $10.00 dollars.

PUPPY KINDERGARTEN - Puppies 3 to 6 Month

  • Begain to train your puppy to be a wonderful family pet. We focus on socialization and new learning experiances for your puppy. Learning to walk on lead, come when called, sit and lie down.

Beginning Obedience New Students - Dogs 6 Months and Older

  • It is not to late to start obedience training even if you missed our puppy classes. We will teach you the same basics, adding in a few new skills the older dog should learn.

Beginning Obedience Previous Students - The Next Step

  • After you and your dog have learned the basics we will help you to start to fine tune those skills by focusing on increasing your dogs attention to you.

Advanced Obedience - Skills Building

  • This class is designed to put the finishing touches on the skills learned so far. It is also a fun class for you and your dog using different equipment in a results oriented format.

Conformation - Show Ring Practice

  • Are you getting ready for the next dog show? Does your dog need a little bit more ring time? This is just the right place. Our members experienced in the conformation show ring will put you and your dog through the paces.

Rally Obedience - A.K.C.'S Newest Performance Event

  • This class, all done on lead, will help to sharpen the skills of both you and your dog. A fun class for the handler and dog who have taken at least one previous obedience class.

Canine Good Citizen Program

  • The Canine Good Citizen Test is a certification program that tests dogs in simulated situations in a relaxed atmosphere.

    The purpose of the Canine Good Citizen Test is to ensure that our favorite companion, the dog, can be a respected member of the community because it is trained and conditioned to act mannerly in the home, in public places and in the presence of other dogs.

    This test of your dog's manners and training is not a competition and does not require that you and your dog perform with precision.

    This program is open to both purebred and mixed-breed dogs.

    Please bring your dogs immunization records if you are not currently enrolled in our other classes.
